I recommend using Ibx paint because one, its free and two, they have more brushes you can mess around with but id recommend you draw it on paper first, take a picture of it, then use that drawing as a reference to use a guide to draw it though your doing good!

Front-facing will always look kinda weird until you get really good. Keep doing this every day and you’ll be amazed with where you are in a month.

Also drawing on a phone is setting yourself up for a harder time tbh

For once i agree with you Za, drawing on a phone is a pain in the ass

Huh I would’ve thought phone would be easier?

Phone apps are generally way inferior to PC art programs. Also, your finger is far less steady than you’d think

Mhm makes sense, well I’ll stick to paper then since I don’t have any pc stuff. Unless you have recommendations?

So I should just stick with paper for now?

Practice on paper first then slowy move to digital, thats what I did, granted I drew a few of my pieces with my old phone and it had a built in stylist

Everyone else is talking about using a pencil or whatever. I know for myself I fucked up my shoulder and can no longer hold a pencil steady so most advice is useless for me. However I can still draw “fairly decently” (relative to the general population) using a mouse and Ms paint just like how old digital artists used to do in the early 2000s. It honestly depends what you are more comfortable and if you see improvement.

This is how I do art now. Not for the same reasons, I just like the aesthetic

Don’t even sweat it. Maybe he’s just a fluffy with a snozz. You’ll get the hang of it. Fluffies aren’t easy to draw, but anyone here can point to your drawings and say, “Yeah, that’s a fluffy.” That’s pretty damn good.

If you still want to use your phone, finding a decently cheap stylus could help a lot I think.

Mhm that sounds like a good idea I like the thought of having my phone to doodle ideas and explore those ideas more in depth on paper and my computer
