Ballet (Chad Lapposki)

This is Butter and his is a quite short and bittersweet story.

A new Foal-In-a-Can product was recently dropped, the premium Dual Sense Can.
The concept is the same as a normal can, but here, two fully growth embryos foals were placed in the same can; two fluffies had to share the same space with the same amount of milk and waste bag.

The premium part was that these two fluffies lasted less than a regular one, like as you can imagine, they had to unconsciously compete against each other for survival but, due either for lack of space, the lack of nutritional milk or the death of one creates a deadly environment for the other, either way they would perish anyway.
An over priced timed death trap.

Our Butter and his sister came from one of those cans.
They were bought by a lonely man who lived in an decrepit mansion in the middle of nowhere.
An old TV star who has fallen into oblivion and the only family he had was a nephew who showed up only in his deathbed.

Surprisingly for the twins, they weren’t rise as the usual spoiled brat-rats every single rich person tends to have.
As any other fluffy they had their flaws yes, but were also nice, comprehensive and curious of course.

Cream was the active twin.
A Light pink fur with a light cream mane.
She was extrovert, charismatic, emphatic.. a bit combative at times and also a bit loud.
She loved to dance, she watched lots of programs and replicas of TV dancing session.
Her dream was to go in one of those programs and became a show fluffy like her old owner.
For this, she got a little tutu from her new owner taken from an old ragged doll, she loved it instantly and allowed to removing it only during bath and poopie times.

Butter is the complete opposite of her, the passive twin.
Light cream fur with light pink mane, this combo didnt help him a lot since he had to repeat constantly that he was a stallion as many, both humans and other fluffies, confused him for a mare.
He’s a chill fluffy, introvert, a bit closed in himself, didnt like to be in the center of attention.
He loves to stay home and play puzzle games even tho he often gets a massive migraine when he cant figure out the right position of that single puzzle piece of the very hard (fluffy approved) 6 pieces puzzle.

After all this, you may wondering why he’s the one dancing right now.. well, this is where its get sad.

After a few months from their old owner death, in their new house, Cream has an incident.
While her usual dance in front of Butter and new Dadde, she collapsed out of nowhere.
They rushed to the closest vet available, put in the first room and tried in vain to awake her.
Nothing.
She died, just like that.

Medical record?
A stroke, her hearth was undeveloped and too small, couldn’t keep up with her own energy.
She wasnt even that old, just a new young mare..

It was a sad moment indeed, the owner was devastated but Butter got the worst hit.
He fell in a deep comatose-ish depression, nothing would helped him. His sister was gone.

He needed many years to barely recover from her death.
The only thing he had left from Cream was her tutu and decided to wear it to never forget her.
He refuses to take it off anytime other than when its time to clean it and he has to sat in from of the washing machine watching it, otherwise he firmly believes that the washing machine itself would eat it.

I already said that Butter doesnt like to stay with other fluffies, but when he’s forced to, he struggles emotionally a lot.
He endure all the mocks and the annoyances the others give him, but when their attention is directed to the tutu, everything changes.
He gets extremely aggressive and protective towards that tutu, to the point that he once broke the muzzle of another fluffy when it tried to bite it off.

When he’s sure no one is around, he dances.
He absolutely hates dancing, but, he does it anyway because he’s convinced that Cream is watching him from Skettiland.
And that little dance makes her happy.

Minus the story, this image looks like it came straight out of a children’s book.
