In my head cannon, this model of fluffies were ment to be tuffies for breeding ranches. That’s why they are taller and have a larger horn than regular fluffies. Their horns continually grow like fingernails,
typically breaking off regularly.

This one however is just a chonky fellow.

why would breeding ranches need a toughie fluffy?

I would imagine like in some ranching operations keeping a dog to put livestock back in line.

Typically ranches use them as both a deterrent for smarty behaviour, and to act as wardens for the other fluffies. It makes it easier for the workers as they dont have to waste time corralling large groups or punishing naughty fluffies. Because of their large size, most other fluffies listen to them and follow their instructions.
They’re raised form birth for this type of job, and any that fail to meet standards are either sold as pets, or made into pet food

giving this job to a dog instead of a more dangerous fuffy greatly reduces chances of accidental casualties

Think nanny that can crush your skull in or shish kabob you if you dont follow the rules.

True, but a dog cant tell if a fluffies being a regular idiot, or if it is rebellious.

There have been accidents though.

It’s a tough balance. Most actual livestock could withstand some bullying and nipping from a dog but I highly doubt a fluffy would walk away unscathed. At least with another fluffy you would be able to communicate with it as well give it (limited) higher cognitive initiative training/instructions.

I could see this kind of fluff being an offshoot of @ArisenLeaf 's barkie friend

sounds like a perfect solution

The idea of fattening a fluffy to see just how chonky it can get seems like a lot of fun. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I believe @Eded_ted is running a similar experiment. Fluffy foie gras, anyone?

Yes.

Teds constantly feeding a fluffy named “greeny”.
It has become very fat. Cant even walk probably.
The only downside of the fattness:

Cant walk.

Has diabetes.

I am gonna do a comic about more of that later.
