As usual, crying for his mother who isn’t there, who warned him not to go somewhere but he foolishly did anyway.

Pretty sure she’s more than 2 metres away. But if you have to work for things and figure things out for yourself without being shielded and coddled the whole time, you get more wits about you.

Now I’m remembering how the mummah found blood outside the nest when the daddeh fluffy got killed. The daddeh fluffy almost made it home too. Depending on the rules of how the Draak works, I guess that woulda meant if he got home he woulda been safe, or the whole family woulda ended up dead. Either way, this dang thing’s pretty much been led to the nest for like the second time.

I think of this as bonding time with his estranged daddy. Seeing what he saw, feeling what he felt. It’s poetic. They could both end up as blood stains outside the same safe place!
