[dumb poll] Fluffs in real life?

Just your pure opinion of owning a pet, not philosophy of playing God or economic disasters. I’m just curious what you think or what could be some advantages

Would you like owning a fluffy? (all boxes allowed)
  • Yes, for hugbox only
  • Yes, for abuse or neutralbox
  • No, I couldn’t buy/keep them
  • No, they’re too annoying
  • Other (comment?)

neutralbox = both abuse and hugbox, or just something inbetween

I think if they’d be real, I’d buy one. You can chat with it, it has average lifespan, it’s big enough to hug but small enough to keep in flats. It could help lonely people or elders. Abuse would be probably shamed, but (unfortunately) even real life animals are abused…

I’d raise a farm full of them.

In my youth I had sheep and cattle. Small farm, complete with the stray barn cats. I don’t think I could walk away from anything begging for shelter for its children. Although I would have to make them understand that brown is a fine color… while showing them my brown girlfriend.

I’d probably open a fluff shop or farm. Hugbox and abusers welcome. Maybe run an abuse parlor as well.

I have a feeling that the bestest baby would have a bad time around you. Also, yes that is how it works on most farms. You eat the mean ones.

that’s so adorable!

Also I agree with everyone, I wouldn’t be able to manage a whole farm, but one or two (or five) would be cool

yes, they have plenty of potential in many ways, ranging from being a pet to actually being useful + stress relief

Shamed or not they still woke the abuser side in me for some reason, so I’ll definitely will own at least one for abuse, and even a poopie for the best pet

I mean they are still toys, there’s no shame of mutilating toys (tho some people probably wouldn’t be happy about it)

Count me in to throw abuse ideas here and there

Would they be the soap version or just the toys with no rights?

Realistically I’d only have one or two but I kinda would like to keep a small herd. Of course I have a cat so could probably only get adult fluffs

Well if I ever get an IRL fluffy abuse parlor I’m sure I’ll need attendants and demonstration specialists.

We could hold workshops and things too.

I don’t really like the soap headcanon, in my universe they’re just toys with great biological AI. However I think other will patent them as anything just so they can do anything with them

I think hasbio or whatever company makes them would already have patented them as biotoys or something

Actually I have a good natural supply of itchy juice that might help, I wonder what would happen if it gets injected into the fluffy

while id mostly want them for hugbox as they would be basicly the perfect pet, but i can see for less industrial countries and places where getting and having meat is a luxury they would be good their as a food sorce which i wouldnt like but i can see just how much of a benafit they would be 2 those countries. hell look at i believe its several parts of chile they use guinie pigs as a meat source cause of the altitude, but many places would see it as a horrible thing 2 do 2 raise them as food. seeing as they talk and can understand, albeit somewhat limited with things, they would be a great help for elderly, the socially challenged, and those who have suffered from abuse. they would be helpful for childern as a great starting pet seeing as they can talk they would beable 2 inform the child if they r hungry or need 2 go 2 the bathroom as well as tell the parents if the child is having issues though in a limited degree.

I still have deep fundamental questions about that… along the lines of true AI. At what point does it change from animate to actual life?

I suppose it depends where you injected them, and how much.

Might be a good prank to feed a fluffy laxatives and fill their rear with ichiness. Leave smears everywhere as they butt-drag to relieve the feeling.

I think that might require some forbidden human DNA tinkering, so maybe they’ll stay on AI
