If you did the same thing with a cat, they’d just give you an angry look because there isn’t a “Bow down to me, puny ape!” button.
If there is such a button, the cat would never stop pressing that button.

There’s actually a cat on YouTube who uses this kind of button system just fine. Her favorite word is “mad”.
