- Snap a leg with his bare hands
- Hammer a nail into its hoof
- rip a leg off with some pliers

And for more pain, a nail in the hoof should do it, as it would cause more suffering AND cripple the leg at the same time.

Hoof suckling is a good start on the despair spiral but it’s not wan dying yet.

A foal can’t suckle its hoof for comfort if it has rusty nails embedded into its hooves!
