Migo is based on the “fungus from Yuggoth” creatures from the H. P. Lovecraft stories, so I just attempted to continue that trend by using the name “Kadath (again from Lovecraft)” in Migo’s utterance.

One, actually–dude named Randolph Carter, who is probably a distant cousin of John Carter, Warlord of Mars…Randolph Carter roamed much farther than John Carter, but J.C. ended up ruler of a planet with a gorgeous wife, wheras R.C. ended up trapped in the body of an alien horror, so J.C. wins.
