I found the old booru through a bored search through IFunny, oddly enough. It was one of Foxhoarder’s images that caught my attention. I’ve been lurking on the old booru for a while, but never engaged in the community until recently.

I really like following TvTropes chains. Start with one thing and an hour later, who knows what you’re looking at.
One way or another ( “And I Must Scream”, " Fate Worse than Death", or “Disproportionate Retribution” seem the most likely candidates) I stumbled upon this page which had a link to now-defunct booru. Bile Fascination at it’s finest.

My first Encounter with Fluffys was around October 2019 which is when i saw an art piece of Foxhoarder (The one with the purple Fluffy having a hot pepperoni shoved up it’s arse). Not long after did i discover r/Fluffyabuse and well… the rest is history.

Had watched MLP and enjoyed it.
Googled MLP porn.
Ended up finding the “Surprise” creepy pasta and loved it. It saw such interesting and wretched stuff within the subject matter.
Googled for comics that may relate to it.
Found stuff that linked me to fluffybooru.
Liked the 90’s Internet vibe with the terrible usability and the disconnected anonymity of creators and commentators.
Gorged on the content until I felt I felt a need to contribute and pay something forward.
Booru died.
Now I am here.

About 5 or so years ago when I was just a teenager, I heard about fluffies from an article on buzzfeed, where the article denounced fluffy abuse.
At first I hated fluffy abuse with a burning passion, so I started creating hugbox stuff for myself to combat it. This was back in the days when hellgremlins and abuse ruled the booru, there were toxic anons everywhere and there wasn’t a balance.
Then I started worldbuilding and creating story after story, starting to love fluffies a lot and became neutralbox. So when the fluffycommunity came around, I finally joined after years of lurking.

I was browsing flufflepuff on Google images when I first saw any kind of fluffy stuff. It really played into my sympathy responce that I enjoy the feeling of for some reason? and I never left.

I found the comic “Fluffy Runner” on Derpibooru, and went looking for the author. As Fluffybooru had imploded by that point I got redirected here.

so i was watching reddit readings on youtube and i stumbled upon the click, then i saw one of his fluffy videos. i didn’t really think anything of it and after a while i found another of his videos on fluffies. i decided to check out the reddit, then the booru. i kinda binge read the entire scootafluff story but suddenly the booru went down because i checked out the booru like a week or so before it’s deletion. more time and watching the click react soon and i wanted to be part of this cool mess. that’s when i found this site

4chan lol. It was a few years back, when Fluffy threads were pretty commonplace on /b/.
I just happened to stumble across one and I was immediately taken by these cute little critters just getting massacred. To this day, I’m not sure why I get such a kick out of it. (But hugbox can be fun too.)
