Yeaap thats prob with some ferals and its herds, more of the tummy than brains sadly .
Then they shit out pure manure, better than any other animal produces, and creates a fertile blank template.
That’s how I’ve been imagining megaherds surviving. They do find a place in nature, and farmers/ranchers steer them away from their fields/grazing land towards the depleted lands where they can speed up the process of refreshing the soil.
I’ve also been treating Feral Fluffies that have natural selection weed out some of the Hasbio programming so they can survive better like bison and reindeer for this purpose. Easier to calculate plausible numbers (one bison being 35 Fluffies, one reindeer being 20).
