Well, props to the little guy for not voiding his bowels the moment he say the “friend”.

Is it bravery, or simply lack of context? Humans identify creatures like the one depicted as monsters because we are raised to do so (and possibly by atavistic ancestral fears of things with sharp teeth roaming the primordial dark). But what of a fluffy who has never seen a horror movie, never read Scary Stories to Tell In the Dark, never sat around a campfire telling stories about hook hands and things that go bump in the night? Would such a fluffy think that the creature is a monster, or merely a weird looking person? After all, for fluffies, the most basic definition of a monster is the alicorn, which this creature certainly is not.

The fluffy was alone in the dark, it couldn’t really see its new friend and only saw a human figure with a smile.

Why the creature didn’t kill the fluffy, shows it’s intent.

It wanted to follow the fluffy home.
