The mouse realized her folly as soon as the raft tipped. Maybe, when she set out to find the sea fluffies… she should have brought along a life vest.
I don’t remember the context but in the chat I said “I could probably draw a drowning SqueakyFriend”. And then uh, I did, and then decided to add some sea fluffies to it. Y’know, to keep it fluffy related.
… Don’t worry though, nobody died!

The program I use has a “watercolor” brush that adds color gradually! So I use that to add a “base” color (in this case blue), then just paint lighter or darker shades and hues where needed. If I then use the watercolor brush to lightly paint a different color (white, yellow, etc), it mixes that color with the blue and provides an organic underwater look. So surprisingly, all the coloring was done on one layer!
(The lineart coloring took two layers though.)
