Can confirm. This reflects my feelings exactly.
Off Topic: Insane how imaginary internet points and thumbs-up can make you feel good. It’s so funny how off the wall Death Stranding is, yet Kojima nailed this aspect of society perfectly.
I know this feeling exactly. I actually liked how the old booru didn’t have likes at all, as it meant everyone who enjoyed the art had to leave at least a word of personal text to express it. It was actually a blessing in disguise that the booru started crumbling long before its collapse, as it gave me enough warning to save all the priceless comments I had earned there!
Yeah, comments are way better, but likes are better than nothing
Indeed this is very relatable. I get very hyperactive when I see someone has liked a post I made. Even just a small bit of appreciation for the writer, artist, creator, etc. goes a really long way!! And it may not make everyone’s day, but there is someone out there that it may put a smile on their face.
And that’s a good feeling to have to know when you create something that someone likes.
Same. Every like is a reminder that someone read what I wrote, each comment evidence of actual interest in the stories progression. And when I got fanart…omfg.
Does it count if I was on the borru a few months before it shut down? I also have been on the reddit for longer.
Probably, but every comment makes me happy :))
You’re so wholesome.
