Actually, I did a little more thinking, and maybe meeting one of my anthros wouldn’t be quite so bad: Unlike a blank, dead-eyed, staring furry/cosplay mask I envision anthros as having extremely complex and developed facial muscles, so they can smile, frown, look angry/happy/scared/etc. similar to humans. And thus, coupled with their ability to talk, they may be able to overcome many interspecies inhibitions.
Just sayin.

Actually, after further study it’s pretty nice, but maybe keep that visible chin fur exclusive to males and make female chins appear smooth? Not that you’ve shown any females yet anyway, just an idea that popped into my head.

I mean, if you look at goats for example, even females have beards, so I don’t think I’m gonna go for much of a sexual dimorphism, maybe except for the size and types of hairstyles, along with udders of course
