So this might be more than you’re looking for but, certain commands could be unpopular all food finding and no play is boring after all. You can force fluffys to follow your rule but if you’re unpopular a toughie might rise up to try to overthrow you. You can recruit them to be your muscle and push your rule even further but you need to keep them on a corruption bit. Convince them they get more by helping you than they would having to actually lead.

It would be cool if you could play as either a smarty or a human who stumbles upon the herd and can either help or hinder their survival efforts.
Hmmm, that sounds more like a spin-off than a different playthrough of the same game. But it’s an interesting idea nonetheless. Maybe a game where you are a park ranger who has to protect the fluffies, who have been integrated to the park’s wildlife (as part of the food chain and as grazing and fertilizing fauna), and control their population. So part of the gameplay would be setting specific traps, tracking and wiping out psychotic smarties with actual smarty syndrome, spiking their food with medicine that reduces fertility, stoping tourists from feeding them human food instead of letting them learn how to fend for themselves with their realistic resources, scaring them away from areas that are either dangerous to them or where they are too invasive through creative spooky means, capturing them for health checks… Not an abuser’s wildest dream but not too hugboxy either since nature must run its course.
