The fact that she begged for a designer fluff right off the bat is a huge red flag that she wasnt gonna be a good pet owner.
Edit: she didn’t even beg, she DEMANDED to be bought a designer fluffy, which is somehow even WORSE.
This is awesome
I love the characters!
I love the description of her cage.
Yay! Happy you’re here!
Thank you! I’m still trying to figure the site out, but I figured I should try and migrate over here with all the cool kids.
I love how her reaction is simply “ugh, Mom, this one broke, get me another”.
If that doesn’t encapsulate the existence of a fluffy, I don’t know what does.

what a brat also poor almend
Poor dumb fluffy. At least it died fast, so i guess that’s something.
This fluffy pain is just… so beautiful!
It’s good to see you again, QuantumFluffup. This one’s a real classic.
I remember this one!
Also, that mom is no prize, either…what with spoiling the daughter etc.
Love your art, man, particularly the slightly derpy expressions of your fluffies.
Those glass cages at the shelter were amazing, by the way, a great idea.
An excellent comic! Nicely paced and good payoff.
Welcome! It’s great to have you here!
I love everything about this comic, as it captures the disposability of fluffies perfectly. Even with everyone mostly well-meaning towards them, the fluffies are still ultimately treated as just toys. A perfect combo of happy moments with dark undercurrents sweeped under the rug! ![]()
Almond is already my favourite character
edge lord brother was right
I like your style. But the family looks like the type you see more and more in a cell phone and family game commercials.
Pure apathetic abuse is an untapped market. It makes sense because fluffies are considered toys. Chances are, a lot of bad things that would happen to them would be people treating them as…well…things, and not something alive. Hell, the girl even liked this fluffy, and she stilled shrugged off her death. Plus her just destroying the self esteem of the other shelter fluffies and not caring.
She’s not being cruel on purpose, she doesn’t enjoy their suffering. She just does not give a single fuck (hell none of the humans do), and that’s refreshing.
It’ll be great to see more works where fluffies are treated more as toys or commodities than as pests or stress balls, not that I mind the latter either.
Also, I like the cartooniness of this style. The fluffies are cute
