if i were to post something that was mostly text, but includes illustrations showing what is happening, what category would i post it in? im assuming it would be text posts but i just want to make sure

Well, there is this one and it is categorized as an image. I guess you should choose depending on what is more important.

it does mostly consist of storytelling through text, so… i guess ill just go with text post for now.

If image is important and text is only for support or extra info then image self posting
If image is for support or visualization and the text has the important parts of the story then it is text self posting
