if my storys/art feature LGBTQ characters, do i use the LGBT category, even if thats not what the image/story is about?
(example: im about to post something that features two characters who have top surgery scars, but its not mentioned or pointed out at all)

Gay fluffy rape doesn’t get put in the LGBT group.
I don’t think the LGBT fluffy followers would claim that as something they support. But maybe they would; I don’t speak for them.
Maybe the metric is, “Would this piss off gay people if I had them associated with it?”, as to whether or not to use the group. If the answer is, “Yes”, perhaps it’d be best to not.

If the story/subject has LGBT characters only, it does not have to.
The category is mainly used to stop dumb internet arguments and allow people to opt out of content they wouldn’t enjoy.
