I’d love to wash the stuffy friend like it was getting a bath. Like, as an example to the fluffy as to why baths are good for little fluffy’s and make them “smell pretty”! It’d be cute to see the fluffy getting into it and cooing along as it’s stuffy friend gets to smell pretty again. It’s a double treat! The fluffy learns good hygiene and the stuffy stops reeking!
That right there is gold.
Especially: do not set plushie toys on fire. Fluffies will try to rescue their “friends,” with hilarious but dangerous consequences.

You know, I think a lot of moronbox content wouldn’t happen if owners just explained shit to their fluffies. Though it would be a lot less funny, I can see that.
In my headcanon, for anyone who hasn’t been keeping up with my stories, fluffies are capable of learning, and growing beyond their bioprogramming, at least to a certain extent. They’re still fluffies, mind you, they’ve still got all the fundamental traits, but there’s more to them than just “huggies, wub, pway, sketties, winse, wepeat”.
But, generally speaking, I think fluffies in any headcanon could probably be made to understand that no, Mistah Stuffy Fwend is not in any danger in the washing machine. You’d have to put it in simple terms, but I think they can at least get that.
Yeah, fluffies are stupid. But I don’t think they have to be stupid.
