Yeah, writing this chapter made by gums itch in sympathy. Had to find something to chew on after writing it.
Jitter’s place is kinda old and shittily built, but it’s what he can afford as a single guy living on a job that pays just enough to rent it. Rainbow had been chewing on those spots for hours before venturing to the kitchen.
As for the playpen, it was completely fixed and adjusted at the end of the story.

Awww, I LOVE those teething rings! Makes me nostalgic for when my baby brother was actually, well… a Baby!

Good Lord that lil’ guy is just precious. If Lady Bell had a full on ultratantrum upon seeing him merely not being dead yet, just imagine the (probably literal) shitstorm she’d unleash if she saw him being a happy lil’ guy.
Maybe after she gets what’s coming to her, perhaps the final accoutrement to her torment would be to see Rainbow grown up to be a happy, healthy and loved Alicorn fluffy, and for her to be Absolutely Powerless to do anything about it.

Well given enough time and persistence, water can wear down stone. With enough chewing and drool (trust me, a teething baby drools a LOT), I’m sure a fluffy foal can leave marks in wood and especially in crappy qualify MDF.
