General
These fluffies are made for the specifications of 19th century medicine and pseudoscience but the thing is it actually works. Meaning that due to a mutation of the brain and flexible skulls that don’t harden till adulthood you can actually practice phrenology on them. This is so the owner can easily get to know the fluffy before adoption. They will also have a hierarchy not based on color or attractiveness but on skull shape. With common insults be “Deefishwent in vitaw magnetism.” And “defewctive in deh tiddwemans cwest.”. While this is usually only harmless teasing, if a foal lack sufficient vital magnetism they will shun it and label it an “Uwchin” or “Owphan”. If a smarty is present can lead to them setting up what are essentially leper colonies in which they are forced to preform endless simulacra of factory work. These uwchins will develop what can be best described as cockney fluffspeak for unknown reasons. Deformed or alicorn foals will be labeled as Cretins, fools or a standard of idiocy
Smarty syndrome:
Vaught fluffies are even fatter than soon mummahs and develop ornate mustache like fluff around the mouth as well as increased growth in the center of approbativeness. They also have inflatable cheeks which will puff up when they need to utter a cry of “Bawdewdash!” Or “Poppycock!”. Despite being miserly during most of the year, the smarties will become exceeding generous during cold times especially towards the Urchin fluffs.
Feeding
They are quite fond of laudnum and Mercury which are actually needed to keep them healthy, and often used as kibble moistener or Sketti sauce. You may give them a little poison as a treat. They are also fond of dappled goose, stool pudding, alewife’s mead, ground mummy and Christmas ham. They prefer to be seated in a square formation and eat off plates.
Child rearing:In addition to normal mummah songs, they also sing versions of all the problematic Victorian favorites! With common subjects being the orient, foals getting killed by a cobbler for stealing an apple, and the importance of chaste thoughts.
Interests:Normal for fluffies for the most part but they have quite an interest in fluffy eugenics and phrenology. They will refuse to do arts and crafts with substances not made of dead ancient Egyptians.
Medicine:
Laudnum and Mercury keep them spiff and spam, and unlike other fluffies their wan die loop can be undone by a simple act of trepanation! They are also quite good at pinpointing what part of their anatomy is in pain but they tend to refer to said symptoms as “Eflluvulence” or even more often “Consumption.”. With Consumption sometimes even used for natural deaths or deaths by fights, predation or abuse.
