Writing Fluffy Fics? Actual 'canon'?

Is there anything that has to be consistent regarding fluffy lore/existence? HasBio, Fall of Cleveland, etc… or can it be picked and chosen from to write your own works? Longtime lurker/lover of fluffies, hopeful to write with them very soon

Fall of Cleveland is only one canon; however, it has heavily influenced a lot of common canon. I strongly dislike its premise so I dismiss it in my stories, but you do you.

bold of you to assume we don’t make shit up as we go on a regular basis

A fluffy pony is a living stuffed animal. They are quadrupedal, vaguely horse like, of low intelligence. They speak like they have dicks in their mouths.

Deviations from this are considered subspecies and don’t try to do it ironically, you will be laughed off the site for being cringe.

Other than that; imagine the privilege, no, the gift, of being given a pretty much infinite sandbox world to tell whatever story you want, and then writing the same shit everyone else does.

My personal fluffy pony law that helps me stay well within the rules; no real animals, no kids. Just don’t even include them in the stories, don’t illustrate them, that’s probably 99% of the genuinely rule breaking content.

So write. go to fucking town. Take your criticism on the chin, and write better next time.

Summer beat me to it. The answer is always headcanon.
Also I second hating Fall of Cleveland but I don’t begrudge stories for using that canon or anything. I just don’t think fluffies should be quite that serious.

As for Hasbio, some people don’t even use that. I know of at least one author whose canon is fluffies just evolved naturally.

You can make it all up if you want 90 percent of the time mods won’t notice or care the last 10 percent everyone will care real deep about none existing lore that they can not explain nor they themselves fallow. In general just fallow the basics of the right stories what are the right stories who knows

Theres no official cannon, unfortunately. The Fall of Cleveland is dated but is kinda as close as it gets, even then theres parts of it that arent really a part of most people’s headcannon.

There’s a few guides floating around, so maybe start there, get familiar with fluffspeak, and read some of the more popular works to get the feel for them.

It’s all kinda trial and error. Good luck!

I remember in the ancient canon they were a species of pony that lived in a far away land. And every story told about them highlighted their retardedness

We don’t use the r slur here

We say rampage instead of retard
