‘Proper’ is another word that ends up doing a lot of miscellaneous heavy lifting, sometimes along “real”, and ”true”.
I feel like every story has its own internal logic to it, to one degree or another. Some use the “logic” of dreams, or the “logic” of the heart, others still use political “logic”, or the “logic” of humor.
