Do you have the guts?

This is a question for your therapist. In therapy.

We’re here for a good time, not for a real time. This is fantasy escapism. That’s the WHOLE point.

I would never, with exactly one exception.

A rapist stallion. I’d slice that fucker into luncheon slices and let his victims watch. And I would feel nothing.

The only reasons to kill another living thing is to prevent it from killing you, to end suffering, or for sustenance. It doesn’t require “guts” to take a life, if anything it’s a sign of cowardice.

even if they’re designated as abominations IRL, hell no

So the general answer is no.

And a few cases, just kill with a reason. Nice, nice.

I remember a squish a geeko with my door. Was like 12 am, Im going to the restroom and the little fella walked between the door and the wall and, well, just made a noise like eeeehhhgg (but in geeko). Im still sorry with the little thing.

Probably that would be the feeling in really if I kill a fluffy. Also, probably there will be a industry of people hunting them with air guns, like people hunting rats in farms or places where the rats become a huge problem.

Probably not. Love reading abuse but would probably ignore the more annoying ones if they were real. In fact I think I’d end up kind of liking them if they existed

Despite being a regular consumer of guro, I struggle to throw a punch even in self defense and can’t really bring myself to harm animals even though there’s a whole lot that are wildly damaging to the environment and cause genuine problems where I am.

That said, while I think a lot of people, maybe even most, would probably struggle with the idea of hurting a fluffy in a real world context, I suspect in a real world context you could develop something approximating some of the extremes of abuse too.

Especially “justified” abuse.

While you’d probably have things like certain real world animal abuse rings, where people are just being terrible for the sake of being terrible and people are appropriately horrified, “justified” harm is a quick easy dopamine high people get wildly addicted to and tends toward being somewhat socially acceptable. Not to mention plenty of people love to hold animals to human standards of morality.

So you’d probably also have a bunch of dipshits publicly bragging about torturing a “pedo stallion” to death except if you look longer than 30 seconds you realise the crime was “had consensual sex with a sexually mature mare a month younger than he was” or something equally wildly stupid.

irl fluffies would be an invasive species, you would be encouraged to kill them and possibly penalized for releasing one. how many could you kill before your empathy stops working and you’re smashing fluffies with sports equipment like they do with silver carp in the ohio river?

“Guts” is not the word for torturing creatures that did nothing to you and are physically incapable of fighting back or running away. We arrest animal abusers for a reason.

If they were real, I would still put them below all normal animals and always prioritize normal animals over them. And if they started fucking up the environment, I would definitely kill them.

Now would I torture them? No. There’s no reason to do something like that; excessive force is never justified no matter the species.

I’d kill them quickly and painlessly just like I do with ants, flies, and roaches whenever I see one in my house.

I hope those carp are killed quickly. There’s no reason to make an animal suffer even if it’s an invasive species.

That’s not what sentience means. All vertebrate animals (and some invertebrates such as octopuses) are sentient.

I woudnt want to kill anything if it was real no, not unless my life or the life of my loved ones was at risk, and even then its a last resort.

Fluffies in general are used for creative expression, hugbox, abusebox any other box for that matter is up to interpretation, there’s a reason they are designed to look generic and not too close to any specific creature, the same reason why they are classed as “bio-toys” to distance the premise from any real life creature. enjoy it for what it is, a goofy premise to make use of to work on and showcase writing and artistic ability, its no deeper than that.
