I think you could do a much better job then that by far

No matter, it’s always great to see a concept iterated upon, and stop motion takes a lot of effort to pull off so it’s still a super rare treat to see it done well!

Yours is watchable. Infinitely so. The predecessor is just OK. Besides, you did proper animation.
