Anything that has to do with a nonstandard fluffy “genre” (horror, superhero, sci-fi, etc) isn’t a subspecies, it is a subgenre. There is still a lot of room to play within the bio-punk modern world without changing genres completely.
Seasonals are bred for color and then trained/altered. The same with party fluffs. So those things are more like affectations, just like LitterPals or therapy fluffs.

Oh yeah, are unfluffies on your list? They’re the fluff-less version of a fluffy, like a Sphinx cat. They get tattoos and piercings to show how good they are. The bestest has the most shiny owwies and the most owwie pictures.
