She’s not a bad mother. She does not mock the vile brown foal, but simply does not give him milk so that he dies quickly, because she understands that the probability that other fuzzies will accept him into the herd is as insignificant as the chance that he will find a loving owner. In addition, the fact that the foal is brown and its mother does not like it does not rid it of its essence. He is the same stupid and selfish creature as his fellows, whom people pity only because of the fact that he is not accepted by his fellows.
