I honestly love this comment so much because it got my brain juices flowing, my interpretation of the comic atm is that her legs were regrown from the stubs, so maybe a side effect from the growth is she sprouts flowers from her back sometimes(regrowth serum based on plants maybe?) and her big poofy tail looking like a bulb a side effect as well(maybe her tail was cut off and regrown as well).
