If the head-canon about betrayed/terrified fluffies end up tasting better is True.
Would it end up affecting the milk of a mare? If we take said milk and use it to make Ice Cream or other milk-based products.
Might be interesting. For instance, let’s say once a mare believes she is in danger, she begins giving off fear pheromones, meant to alert other fluffies of danger and the milk she produces is suddenly filled with more proteins. This would help foals grow faster and survive.
On the other hand, it could be said that a mare might stop producing milk in very stressful situations in order to save her strength.
Rabbits have been known to kill their young when stressed. So it could be a biological response to high tension situations. A mare can always make more foals in a month.
I wouldn’t eat anything that comes from a fluffy.
as for that fear thing it just sounds like a load of bs people come up with to torment animals I mean with the biological mess of a fluffy who knows but I don’t accept any of the fear = taste better stuff as anything but a load of bs.
I mean after seeing something on the news back in the early 2000s about some slaughterhouse straight up forcing sick cows into line to prevent a lose of profit I really don’t like the idea of people tormenting animals if it’s going to be food stuffs. It’s not fair to the animal to suffer it just feels wrong. I care about animals I’d never harm one I mean hell I felt horrible about Gyros when I found out their made with lamb.
