I’d also potentially add the whole “starting multiple fires in such a small area in the woods” but he seems to know what he’s doing so I can’t be completely mad. Still seems like something you’d have wanted at least one or two other people along for the ride for just to be safe.

It’s a message to future herds trying to nest on the site. The smell of dead fluffies and foals should scare them away for a few months.

Foreground mare in panel 2 (the runner) is a perfect expression mix of fear, anxiety, urgency; definitely the eyes/pupils. Good work.
