Would programming still affect a ghost? They might drop down to hamster brains.
Or lose the limits of their programming, becoming closer to human.
Or both depending on their lineage.

Both plausable.
A fluff dying and becoming more human-like as a ghost is terrifying.
Maybe they’d get stuck in an infinite loop instead? Replaying the same action over and over, because in death it can not reach the end of the action event.
