A draft of an idea that had been brewing in my head for a while. It is recommended to watch the above video for some context behind the idea. I might change the name of the company if I upload this to the subreddit, but suffice is that I imagine that, aside from Hasbio and Genecco, I could see a company like Samsung have their own hand at making their own fluffies.
Some notes:
(a) the idea of fluffies being used to play a specific type of video game was a minor plot point in Chapter 7 of Avocado, and was what Bullsquid was raised to do (to be more precised, he was “designed” for it - something I’ll have to write on eventually)
(b) MM622 and Arthurnen are both references to Mixxermike622 and Art-anon, who both had a hand in the start of the fluffy pony genre
(c) Samsung fluffies are closer to what I think of when one uses the term “biotoy”, as a Samsung fluffy is a literal toy
(d) aside from just ‘releasing an incomplete product into the wild’, I feel the Hasbio break-in would be more interesting if it was an act of corporate espionage
(e) Apple iMonkey and Sony Orangutan
(f) the idea of bioports comes from eXistenZ.
