I’ll be honest, it’s been a bit since I’ve been here at all really, but I’ve never really stopped thinking about this site, and especially this story. But I have had to come back here to thank you, dear Feddy, for writing this story, because a single line from it inspired me in a way that improved my life dramatically. I’m a migraine sufferer, and I get bad migraines, and one of the things that help make me not suffer is having pressure on my eyes, and blocking out all stimuli. Then I remembered the following line:
You also made something you called a “Happy Hat,” basically a little white balaclava without the eyeholes. It blocked out visual overload, and the white color kept your fluffy from being afraid of the dark.
I took this line (and a half whoops) and thought “that’s the best fucking idea I’ve ever heard” and then made one for myself.
It might not seem like much, but this shitty little head-hugger made existence so much better, and this shitty little head-hugger can be solely attributed to be remembering a line from this story. So, thank you, dear humanoid, for giving me the inspiration to make one for myself and not die as much.
(Also a friend told me I look like I’m participating in a blind smelling contest and I cannot say they are wrong.)
i know it’s been a while, but i wanted to thank you for this comment. it touches my heart not only that my story stuck with you, but that it could make your life better in some way!
your comment has stuck with me the same way, and in the future it’s going to be something i come back to when i’m looking for reasons to keep sharing the things i make.
Agreed. Even when I was on a long hiatus from fluffies, I would still come back here every so often to read this story. It’s one of the best Hugbox stories on this site.
Haha it’s stories like this that makes the abuse tolerable and interesting because there’s either the satisfaction of an actual hellgremlin biting it or there’s the hope in the ack of your head that this is how the story ends.
Love this little guy so much and love seeing an owner that takes a second to just see how their potential pet ticks instead of trying to force an animal into marching their life. Really cute, really cool
