This combines two things I love: Fluffies trying (and failing) to make it on their own and nest diagrams/displays
I like the little touches, too. This fluffy family seems to be doing pretty well for itself if they’ve got a nest and food, but there are all sorts of clues that this won’t last much longer – the male fluffy is injured, the “two days of food” doesn’t look like it will actually last that long, the presence of the discarded foals implies they don’t have enough food or compassion to successfully raise the current brood, living that close to a river of shit almost guarantees infection, etc. It’s all spiraling out of control.
Yeah, no way that the male pony lasts much longer. He’s got a missing eye, for one, and what look like open wounds on at least one side of his body. If human waste doesn’t infect him then the fact they’re living in their own filth will. The mare is still nursing what remains of her kids so once he’s gone she’ll have to start foraging on her own. Periodic distance from the area might help them a bit when it comes to exposure but not by much.
fluffies on sewers might sound something that could lead in many trouble. i could think everyday, many people have to get on the sewer system to kill and get rid of fluffies to the sewers doesn’t get clog with many of these shitrats that manage to get stuck there.
