In days of yore (4chan era) it was common to end greentext stories with “spaghetti falling out of your pockets” when the result of the story was shame, anxiety, or embarrassment. For instance:

>try to explain fluffy lore
>realize I used the phrase “days of yore”
>I look like a fucking idiot
>try to leave
>I trip
>spaghetti falls out of my pockets
>they’re all laughing
>mfw I have humiliated myself and become an example
And that was just what it was. A non sequitur. If you got anxious and fucked up, you were spilling your spaghetti. Your spaghetti fell out of your pockets. You had thoroughly embarrassed yourself in front of the 10/10 qt.
When fluffies came around, at some point lost to history (as is the nature of posting on 4chan) the idea came to be that you’d keep fluffies in your pockets to eat the spaghetti. At least, that’s how I remember it. It might also just be because spaghetti is a funny word.
