There’s a tacit admission that the concept of justice applies only if its considered on the level of a human, something intelligent and also higher than all other natural forms of life. Otherwise its a human embarrassingly roleplaying with something meant for small children, or misapplying anthropomorphic values to a rodent just trying to survive.
That’s the lovely irony of the boxes. Neutral sees them as just dumb whatevers, raw abuse doesn’t concern with motive for any action beyond the animal side of humans.
