I assumed the intent was “rubbery cheese”. And by that, I’m guessing processed cheeses made from oil. Like American, any flavor of Kraft singles, or Velveeta.

I’m guessing it’s that shitty string cheese a lot of parents feed their kids as a snack. It looks and tastes like rubber.

I always suspected that those parents secretly hated their children if they were feeding them that garbage.
