Yeah, there are reasons I watch them for a few hours, give them percussive instruments, and send them back to their parents. I haven’t been asked to babysit in decades!
Had to babysit my friend’s kids once. Wasn’t actually a problem except for them being so fascinated by my beard that they kept tugging on it. Not pleasant at all.

yeah, i don’t have a beard but when my niece was a baby she was so fascinated by my hair being curly so she would love to put her hands all over it and tug on it

it’s sweet how this reminds you of some of the hardships of motherhood. make sure to tell your mom you love her later (if she’s a good mom that is)

honestly? The first one reminds me of how my frenchies were with their mummah. She was running anywhere to get away from 7 pups just for a break

Any mother does that reason a lot of pack animals some females don’t mate and help raise them. Even with dogs I had one who would carry her pups to us and just disappear for 3 hours
