Uh, they are fluffies though? Fluffies themselves are an AU of sorts and have no one canon. They look talk, and act like fluffies therefore I consider them so. I don’t give a fuck if they’re AUs of another character. Fluffies are pretty much just a super fucked up MLP AU if you look at its root.
