Tiny Lives (Part 6) by emo_trash

Part 5

You are a fluffy pony.

You don’t have a name, but you want one.

Your friend Ellie has a name! Her name is Ellie! Mummah gave her that name.

You wish Mummah would give you a name, but she said that bad fluffies don’t get names.

At the start of every bright-time, Mummah comes into the safe-room. She gives Ellie her delicious milkies, and gives her lots of huggies and kissies and pways.

After a small forever, she puts your friend Ellie down.

She bends her leggies so that she is close to the floor like you, and asks you if you know why you are a bad baby.

You don’t like when Mummah asks you this. It gives you so many saddies, and makes your headie hurt too!

You think and think as hard as you can, but you are always so scared and sad that it’s really hard.

You’ve been here for a few bright-times, and you’ve learned a lot.

You’re not a bad fluffy because you are not pretty, or because you’re too small, or because you only have two leggies.

This bright-time, you look up at Mummah.

You accidentally make scaredy-poopies! But it’s okay, because you spend most of your time with your poopie-place hanging over the litter box.

Your leggies are short, stubby, and weak. You are sometimes able to drag yourself around a little bit, but it gives the places where your leggies used to be have really bad hurties, so you don’t do it very often.

“Well, bad baby?” she asks you, and you want to cover your eyes and hide! But only bad babies hide from Mummah, so you don’t do that. “Do you know why you are a bad baby?”

You look down at your hoofsies, and you shuffle, thinking as fast as your little brain can manage. “Am bad fwuffy becaws…becaws fwuffy am cowt? Am bad fwuffy becaws nu am fiwwy?”

“Hmm, that’s a good guess, little fluffy!” she tells you, and you start to get the biggest happies! Are you a good fluffy now?! “But that’s not the right answer. I’m very disappointed in you, bad fluffy. Now you have to wait until the next bright-time to guess again! Don’t you want to be a good baby for Mummah? Why won’t you tell me why you are a bad baby? Do you like to give Mummah heart-hurties?”

You begin to cry. “Babbeh sowwy, Mummah! Nu mean tu gib heawt-huwties! Babbeh wub! Babbeh nu know wai am bad! Babbeh am twyin’!”

She picks you up by your tail—which gives you lots of hurties—and puts you on the floor, a little bit away from the litter box. She takes all of the poopies out and puts them into a bag, and then she leaves the room.

The door clicks shut behind her.

Ellie runs up to you!

It gives you the biggest happies to see her! She is such a pretty filly!

She has soft, white, smell-pretty fluff! And her eyes and tail are such a pretty blue!

“Wan pway?” she asks you, wagging her tail.

You do want to play, but you need to get back to the litter box!

You don’t have to make poopies right now, but without any back leggies, it takes you a forever to get there!

But you remember what Mummah said about making Ellie happy, and you shudder.

Even without that, though, you want to make Ellie happy!

You love Ellie so much!

She knows that you are a bad fluffy, and she is your friend anyway!

Every dark-time, you sleep in a fluff pile together!

Sometimes, you play with her.

Most of the time, though, you are too scared to stay away from the litter box.

You are already a bad baby, you don’t want to give Mummah any more heart-hurties by making bad-poopies!

Today, when you look into Ellie’s su pretty blue see-places, you see she looks so excited to play with you!

She is excited, and that makes you excited!

“Okay, Ewwy! Fwuffy wiww pway wiff yu!”

“Yaaaayyyyyy! Fwuffy wan pway taggies?”

You want to play with blocks, but you nod your head anyway, because that’s what Ellie wants.

Delighted, the beautiful white filly giggles and even does a little jump! She is so excited!

Gently, she raises her front hoofsie and taps you on the nose. It’s not a sorry-hoofsie, though—it doesn’t give you any owwies. “Yow it!” she squeals.

Her leggies move sooo fast! Very soon, she is far away from you!

Excited to chase after her, you start to run forward!

SCREEEEE!

You forgot about your leggies! You are a bad fluffy so your leggies ran away from you!

When you try to move, you get the worstest hurties!

It hurts, so you start to cry!

Soon, Ellie is there! She gives you a big huggie, and you start to feel a little bit better!

“Wai odda fwuffy nu wike taggies?” Ellie whines. “Ewwy wub tu pway taggies!”

“Am su sowwy Ewwy,” you tell her sincerely, and you bury your face deeper into her pretty white fluff. “Dummeh wun-’way weggies gib fwuffy wowstest huwties wen fwuffy twies to wawkies ow wun.”

“Ewwy picked da wowstest gamesie!” Ellie begins to cry. “Odda fwuffy nu wike Ewwy gamesie! Huu huuu!”

As soon as she lets out that first sob, you begin to panic.

Ellie is crying because of you!

If you make Ellie sad, she’s not going to want you anymore!!

And then Mummah will make you go forever sleepies!!! Then you’ll never be a good fluffy!

“Ellie, little one? What happened, my beautiful baby?”

It’s Mummah!

She reaches down and picks the good fluffy up, pulling her right out of your arms and into a huggie of her own.

“Dat odda fwuffy nu wike taggies wiff Ewwy!” she cries.

Faster than you can blink, Mummah is looking right at your see-places with hers.

You have more scaredies than you’ve ever had!

You can’t help it.

You make scaredy-poopies, right there on the carpet.

As you stare up at Mummah’s face, twisted up into an angry not-smile, you wonder if you’re about to go forever sleepies.

Oh for fuck’s sake, the ending would have never happened, had they communicated more clearly to each other.

Yes!!! I can’t get enough of it. I do think the little stunted foal should get a name though. Maybe a “nu-pwetty” name that he hates, like “Poopie” or “Stumpy.”
