I genuinely think the dichotomy is funny especially when the viewpoint character is a serial killer that goes after socially acceptable targets

I do think it would improve readability if you limited fluffspeak to actual fluffy dialogue. A little bit in their thoughts can be okay, but a lot of times it really hinders understanding & flow for me. Your characterization is top notch, Zeri and Millie are two of my favourite characters on this site, period!
