it’s actually way more simple. hunting friends are usually a lab product and have cat eyes. cannibals are usually a product of a genetic mutation and have spiral eyes

yeah, that’s why I said there is not much difference. it’s mostly just eyes, differences in mental stability, and the fact that cannibals don’t use pack tactics (either social manipulation or just frontal attack, depending on the level of sanity). everything else is headcanon
