Havent read the other comments but what I like best when it comes to foals is abuse by their parent. A bad color chirpy getting mistreated but not understanding why. A talky asking for love but getting denied.
Thats about all I care for foals. Otherwise I see them just as targets to abuse as punishment for the parents. Generally theyre too innocent for me to care about abusing unless theyre a bestest

I dunno if this is anything, I don’t call myself an abuser.
But sometimes, when I see a chirpy, I get the urge to pick it up and pet and be nice to it at first. Get it nice and used to me. And then slowly start to apply pressure. Like a frog in a boiling pot.
From hand huggies to complete, brutal pancakification. Like smashing playdough.

When it comes to foals, accidental abuse is great because it can be hugbox, abuse, and anything in-between. A clueless owner and a foal is a great template.

Another good foal abuse trope I like enjoy is abusing chirpies with their eyes still closed. Pulling them open early, sensory abuse with bright lights or pepper spray, etc.
