They have a genetic base creature. Its not possible to remove all instincts, or shit like breathing and nursing would need manual programming for no reason.
why would they have a base creature once you are fucking about as much as you would need to make a fluffy you can just make a whole new animal they all ready have very complex things programed why not breathing or nursing
Altering creatures is “not too distant future” from us now. Like, if a company just disregarded all international laws and ethics, we could probably make actual Fluffies in twenty years time. The Fluffy programming of words and actions is more magic than science, but so was Star Trek tech before it inspired people to figure it out.
Making a creature from scratch from the genes up is so high concept sci fi that it is more appropriate in the fantasy genre than science fiction.
Given Fluffies exist in basically the modern day, and have apparently existed longer than two generations of humans, they have a genetic template. Their behavior and bodies match mustelids meaning their genetic base was probably a badger, Tasmanian devil, or a wolverine.
Fluffies retain many animal instincts. But Hasbio clearly overwrote many of the ones directly related to survival, along with instinctive desire for food only humans can provide, to ensure their success as ferals is limited.

ahahahah making a fluffy is not is not possible in a hundred years , if you are disregarding main features of what a fluffy is by saying it’s magic than sure you could call what ever the fuck you wanted a fluffy , genetics is not legos you don’t just add characteristics to a animal and make it a new animal fuck just to isolate a specific trait we would need a complete understanding of the genetics of an animal at which point it would be just as simple to make a new animal as to modify one to such as you would need to make a fluffy

A Fluffy is basically just a mustelid.
The difference is they have neon coat colors, a mane, an enlarged foot pad that resembles a hoof, flat teeth, and a broadened snout. Its also a defective genetic mess.
Today it was announced scientists made a monkey/human hybrid embryo. We aren’t far off from kitbashing animals together to create new things.
The only issue at all is Fluffies being born knowing and being able to speak words, as well as know concepts like “Bawky Munstah” and “Sketti” despite having encountered neither. That is the “we’re saying its science, but its actually just kinda magic” conceit. But the medical and communication devices in Star Trek were the same when it came out until nerds were inspired to create those things for real. So its not impossible, merely implausible.
What’s impossible is Fluffies being the only engineered animal, and no country on Earth creating humans that can do long devision while still suckling. The strangest nature of Fluffyverses is how such a high sci fi concept was only done one, by one company.

no a fluffy is noting like a mustelid , the difference between getting some cells to reproduce in an embryo and having a monkey whit an human traits is incomprehensible, what you are citing is the equivalent of pissing in a pool and there being traces of piss in the pool .every thing about fluffies is magic those differences are an impossibility for us to manipulate it is not just flipping the flat teeth switch it is completely recoding an animal to have flat teeth you severely underestimate how complex it is to make a fluffy

Its not known if the two hybrids that were created could have survived, nor if any company has carried out such experiments in secret for that matter.
Fluffies are pretty damn mustelid. Body shape, omnivores, severe overestimation of their own abilities, Smarties, weaponized feces, and so on. They share nothing in common with horses, they only superficially resemble them.
Its funny you are arguing that we’re too far off from engineering a hybrid, given you were saying earlier that its easier to create a complex organism from scratch.

Some do. The ones that do have the logic of “it tastes good and i like it so therefore it must be good for me.” Fluffy logic is amazing, I’ll tell you what. The ones who don’t even like skettie may bargain for their preferred treat, like for Mystic it’s candy. So if she made good poopies for a few days she’ll use that as a way to negotiate getting some sour gummy worms from Daddeh or Nanneh Mummah.
