Not sure a lot of boys and men would want to be seen in public with ANYTHING that baby-talks and demands cuddles, except possibly for their own human child.

Since they made fluffies’ genome from scratch, I wonder why they even included the possibility of bad colours appearing at all. If it’s possible to make ANY of them pink, just make them all pink and add in other colours as the market demands later on! It’s not like they couldn’t have known which genes affect coat colour if they can make scratch-build biodroid lifeforms.
Besides, even if they don’t give a fuck about racism, which sadly many companies do not (not unique to America either, I doubt Japanese companies take gaijin sensitivities into account any better), the vast majority of humans, including white humans, have brown or black hair. How could they rely on the fluffies not reacting to “poopeh hoomins”?
