Hey, new here. I want to try creating fluffies—specially 3d animation and modeling—and was wondering if there’s any tips and advice from their experiences that anyone would like to share.
I know there’s videos and tutorials out there for animation however there’s so much I don’t know where to start, but if you’ve seen any videos or tutorials that have helped you with making fluffies (3d or 2d, like illustration), please put the link(s) down in the comments or DM me if you’d like
I don’t mind doing illustration (or drawing), but I haven’t found my style yet. Any tips how to find and improve my style?
I would say try the snowman building with Fluffies. Start by doing the head, then add bigger one below and the biggest at the end. Now you have a base! Add short stubby legs to the snowman and two perky ears. Face you can shape anyway you want, just remember Fluffies are supposed to be cute and appealing to children. That usually means big ol’ eyes and very prominent round cheeks. Experiment a little too!
Oh, also! If you need a real life reference, go for the shapes of very small kittens, puppies and piglets! Mix the features together, see what you like. Make them chubby like plush animals - I’m sure you saw a plush with exceptionally tubby body, short limbs and rather proportional head (it doesn’t look too small or too big), made to be easy to carry around and hug.
