Ngl i like how that makes sense from a biology student standpoint. Susie is like a diamond in the rough in terms of genes. A brown foal born from brightly colored parents is just as valuable with more likely getting colored offspring rather than Trisha whom is the 1:100 chance like an inverse ‘poopie’ which also explains her smarty/BMS behavior cuz her family saw her as a literal beauty so ofc very biased etc.

I have something similar,I have a dog that his grandfather was xolocuintle,but he is not nearly purebred ,and his children is almost impossible to be born similar to him,but if you see him is meets the standards of his breed ,both are the same phenotypically perfect,but genetical do not meet,but at least my dog is a love and a good boy

Yeah… my dogs have something similar… well one of my dogs is genetically suseptible to Glaucoma. Its tragic cuz she had to get 2 separate eye surgeries and is now blind but shes still adorable and sweet as apple pie.

Fluffy genetic is already a clusterfuck, trying to breed for color is a nightmare in within itself. Good color fluffy can produce bad colored foals, bad color fluffy can produce good colored foals and no amonunt of good/bad lineage can save you for it.

Much like how @NekuChan story lore about poopies are the first prototype fluffies that where released by animal right activist and forgotten added they morely contain more complete genes than the modern “colorful” ones Hasbio pushed out for sale.

That and (my speculations or HC or its super obvious and i just noticed lol) that smarties or BMS or fluffies that simply acted aggressively or negatively towards brown or dark fluffies were sorta self-destructive on their own genetics… shooting themselves in the foot for not looking at the big picture and limiting survival and color chsnces over small things
But this might just vary depending on HC cuz some say they were self-destructive on their own or were programmed to be tjst way cuz some scientists were too lazy and thought it be more efficient.
