Having experienced this exact feeling (the desire to bash one’s head into the wall / floor) many times, I have to say that in my experience this is the result of someone else screwing up royally.
When I am responsible for something being fubar’ed, I usuall just sit and stare into space for a while.

I just can’t pause at the frame where his head is on the floor. Whenever I pause the gif, the fluffy just realizes “Oh, I should stop now” and does.
