You are Joey.
It’s been a very long and exhausting week, but finally it’s Friday. Which means you get to relax and have a nice home cooked meal with your family and friends at Duncan’s house.
Duncan has really bonded with Bubbeh over the past few weeks and now she insists you have dinner at their house at least once and week.
Tonight is special though . Lorna insisted that we have authentic Texas barbecue at Vanderholt farm.
Duncan took the day off to help Lorna prepare everything, Bubbeh, Mom and the rest of Duncan’s family also went with them. It was an all hands on deck situation. Duncan even brought all his fluffies to mingle with old friends that used to stay at his house .
You pull into the driveway then both yourself and your bodyguard Jill exit the car.
The air smells of ribs, brisket, pork chops the works.
The two of you follow the aroma into the back of the farm .
Your eyes are met with well over 200 people just hanging around. Smoking cigars, drinking, playing horseshoe, riding a mechanical bull, watching old horror movies on a projector, shooting targets at the range on the far side of the property and of course eating.
There was a small stage set up karaoke. But what caught your attention above all that was a Kvass truck, not a real one mind you but a pickup truck hauling a 400 gallon metal drum in trailer hitched to the back . The word Kvass scribbled on the side of the truck with washable paint.
The fluffies were playing I a large makeshift safe “room” filled with toys ,Litter boxes , food and water bowls and a troth of sketties.
There were also several humans chaperones monitoring the fluffies to make sure none of them started acting up, in the event that they did, Several sorry boxes were set up.
You see Duncan get up on stage and get everyone’s attention via the microphone and loud speakers.
“Alright everyone the guest of honor has arrived. Everyone give a warm welcome to the lady of the hour, Josephine Louise Portnoy!”
The whole farm erupts in a loud “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”
You look over at your mother and grandma who are smirking.
Duncan continues speaking.
“Hoagie and Stevie have a surprise for you!”
Out comes Stevie and Hoagie dressed in fluffy sized cowboy outfits.
You can’t help but smile at how cute they both look.
Suddenly instrumental music starts playing then both fluffies begin to sing
“ Yippie yay

You start squealing uncontrollably and run up on stage ,scooping both fluffies into your arms.
Stevie looks up at you.
“Mummah wike song?”
You smile barely holding back tears of joy.
“I loved it… thank you both!”
