A strange cycle part 1 (Kyle_satisfactory)

A man was walking returning from work, all day had been cold and it was snowing slightly, passing by a park he heards some cries, more like hu hu’s, the man heard this repeatedly and he couldnt ignore it for much lkonger, he stopped he started searching where the sound was coming from, after opening a big bush he saw inside of it a big fat fluffy, it was a pregnant mare fluffy, the fluffy saw the man with watery eyes as if saying help me with just its sad stare, the without thinking it man picked her up trying to not harm her and her unborn foals, the man carried the fluffy to his home, it was a small apartment but cozy and warm, he placed a big towel in the floor and then placed the fluffy over it just if it gave birth it didnt stain the floor, it was obvious she was giving birth soon as her belly was very bloated, some hours passed, the fluffy was resting and the man was reading a book when suddenly he heard a scream

SCREEEEEEEE BIGGEST POOPIES!

The man quickly set his book down and rushed to the fluffy’s side. She lay on the soft towel, her small body trembling as she whimpered in pain. Her little hooves gripped the fabric, her eyes wide with fear

It’s okay. the man murmured gently, kneeling beside her You’re safe. I’ve got you.

The fluffy let out another strained cry, her body tensing. Then, after what felt like an eternity, the first tiny foal was born. A tiny, wriggling ball of fluff, still wet and weak, chirping softly for its mother. The man carefully wiped the newborn with a warm cloth, placing it close to the fluffy’s belly. The mother weakly nuzzled her baby, whispering in a trembling voice.

B-babbeh? wuv babbeh…

One by one, the foals entered the world, each as small, delicate, and helpless as the last. The man helped clean each one, making sure they were warm and safe, gently guiding them to their mother’s soft belly where they instinctively latched on, drinking the first drops of life-giving milk. By the end of it, the mother was exhausted, her breathing slow but steady. She gazed at her newborns, her eyes shining with pure love. Just hours ago, this fluffy had been alone, scared, and cold in a bush, with no hope of surviving the bitter winter night. Now, she was safe, warm, and surrounded by her precious babies, thanks to the kindness of a stranger who chose to care.

Some hours passed and the foals where sleeping in the mothers fur when she felt a pain in her belly again, her belly was still a little bloated, she didnt scream this time trying to let her little precious innocent sleeping adorably newborn little weak and dependent foals on her now soft fur that was dirty and smelly just hours ago. She couldnt hold the pain more and she screamed

SCREEEEEEE

As she moved in the floor because of the pain, her foals fell from her back and started crying, the man startled and knelt down to help the mother but she was in a lot of pain, the last little foal took a very long time to try to come out and now it wasnt coming out. In the litter she gave birth to there where born 7 foals, with the still stuck one was 8, her foals cried scared as the situation theri mummah was in was not comprehensible for them.

The little foals instictively sniffed and searched for her fur back again, While that she pushed and pushed but the foal didnt come out, at one moment a little crack sound was heard and after the foal came out easily, she was ready to care for it but the foal had broken its little neck when coming out and it died before even knowing the world, as she looked back she was horrified with the picture she saw , she saw the tiny foal not making a single innocent weak pure chirp but instead with its neck twisted and broken not even having the chance to live for even a second

She said with trembling voice

B-babbeh?

She whispered, nudging it softly with her nose. The foal didn’t chirp, didn’t move, didn’t seek out her warmth like its siblings had. It simply lay there, small and fragile, never given a chance to know love, warmth, or even a single heartbeat of comfort in this world, the other seven foals, still so weak and blind, instinctively crawled back to their mother, their tiny bodies pressing into her fur for safety. But the mother couldn’t look away from the one that would never do the same. Her fluffy cheeks became damp with silent tears as she whimpered.

The man felt his heart sink. He had done all he could to help her, but fate had been cruel to the tiny foal. Gently, he reached out, placing a hand on the mother’s shaking back.

I’m so sorry he said softly

The mother let out a broken sob, nuzzling the lifeless foal one last time. Then, with a heavy heart, she turned away, curling protectively around the living ones who still needed her.

The man carefully picked up the tiny, lifeless body. It was so light, so small, never given a chance to experience the warmth of its mother’s love or the simple joy of cuddling with its siblings. He wrapped it in a soft cloth, giving it the kindness in death that it had never been given in life.
